Kids intuitively seem to know the very best time to ask their parents for something. (Catch 'em while they're weak!). They wait patiently until the perfect moment, and they spring into action.
But often times in the workplace it's easy to underestimate the role of timing.
Whether it's asking for a raise, trying to change the status quo, or making your push to become a partner...don't just consider the "how". Think about the "when" too. Sometimes it can make all the difference.
